Ready to embrace fall? Dreading it like the plague? Either way, this is the perfect Fall Equinox workshop for you – we’ll combine some Yin Yoga *magic* in the whimsical Moondance Wellness yoga studio with a (weather permitting outdoors!) Chinese Gongfu Tea Ceremony to soothe our summer’s end sadness and begin to embrace our oh-so-cozy fall vibes.
Lighten your heart as you realign yourself with nature’s sweet cycles, and discover more gratitude, peace, rejuvenation, and wholeness.
Workshop begins w/ a meditative + educational Chinese Gongfu Tea Ceremony where you’ll experience centering, grounding, and deep breathing – allowing your body and mind to unwind and relax. We’ll talk about the teas we are tasting and you’ll learn all sorts of fun facts about the health-supportive benefits of tea!
This will be followed by a Yin Yoga class to nourish the body, balance the mind, and soothe the soul. No yoga experience necessary; busy minds and stiff bodies encouraged to attend!
About the Fall Equinox:
The Fall Equinox marks the official start of fall and the end of the summer season, and for many – especially in the Midwest where summer is sacred – can bring a heavy heart or dread for what’s ahead.
In this workshop you’ll learn to appreciate and enjoy this time of transition by encouraging yourself to pause and reflect on all that you’ve accomplished during the spring and summer seasons of busyness and growth, and to ground and refresh yourself as you prepare to enter the fall and winter seasons of coziness and rest.
(Weather permitting, our tea ceremony may be outdoors! Yin practice will take place indoors.)
